I guess it should update the published time? Might be a really easy change…

It’s not perfect, but I do think it’s the best currently existing photo editing software. The more I’ve learned about it the more I’m appreciating some clever design decisions that went into it.

It’s actually a reasonably nice gui email client if you’re into that sorta thing.

Genius level design. Gotta be the most elegant platformer I’ve ever played.

Fill one of these puppies with olive oil and you can live off it for weeks!

Both quicker and crunchier than a dishwasher!

It's the only real option if you want to use FOSS software or even if you're just concerned about blink/chrome's general dominance, but it gets worse with every update. AI garbage, firing the servo team, raising executive pay 400% as their market share declined 85%, sent a record of all browsing traffic to CloudFlare by default, advertisements on the new tab page, used their brand to enter the saturated VPN grift market, and god knows what's next. Another funny thing is that they get nearly 100% of their funding from Google (via being paid to use Google as the default search) so naturally they oppose the EU or US splitting up Google's monopoly in any way: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/mozilla-reaction-to-u-s-v-google/ I still keep using this garbage, but cannot wait for the day Ladybird finally becomes usable.

There's both an airport and train network, but for some stupid reason they don't connect so you've gotta get on a shuttle bus to the train station like an animal. Other than that it's fine I guess.

Went a few times when I was in the states and outside of cities it's often the best option. I've never been to the one in Dunedin. It's across the street from burger plant which is way nicer. Also I'd like it if there were less American fast food places in NZ so I avoid them out of principle.

Best cafe in the southern hemisphere. I might be a little biased since they gave me 8 free cinnamon scrolls the other day and I went to their wedding, but the coffee is also genuinely the best around.

I enjoyed it, but it was quite predictable and full of tropes. The world building was very neat.

Just installed this bad boy yesterday. It's still a 72 segment casio watch, but now it has a countdown timer, temperature sensor, tide predictions, shows the sunrise/sunset times, lets me flick through different timezones, can even generate 2FA codes, and still has a battery life measured in years.

I couldn't decide if it was profound or just prolonged.

Well that was the coolest shit I've ever seen

The opening sequence is just so iconic and instantly transports me into that meadow. I love how films used to just always have singing and dancing. It's not all rosy though you'll have to deal with some occasional 60s writer dude shit and some cringey "romance" scenes, but it's not tooo bad and otherwise it's a film with great vibes.

Really great writing and very funny. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
@kota – September 13, 2024
Objectively the most weird and disturbing film I've seen. It's like a combination of Wes Anderson, John Wick, and also hardcore pornography which makes it sound a lot cooler than it actually was.

I liked that the main character is a climber however I didn't like that she gave up on her dreams of being a dirtbag in colorado to become a princess.

A really excellent training tool, BUT with one of the worst apps ever created. It's truly a terrible experience. If you're lucky enough to get the app to allow you to login (I am not) you probably won't be able to pair it anyway. It would be infinitely better if the moonboard came with a screen on the side or if the devs just learned how to write an auth system and use bluetooth correctly...

It was pretty good, but doesn't really compare to the original. The writing was pretty cheesy at times and the plot felt a bit forced which took away from the otherwise tense scenes.

Excellent film! It was suspenseful from start to finish with an elegant and believable story. Also I'm a sucker for the retro-futurism aesthetic.

The optimal backpacking meal. Perhaps, the optimal meal. Not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach.
@kota – August 5, 2024
Excellent film. Does a really good job portraying the character and spirit of the movement while having a very gripping story with lots of tense moments.
