This is my first time using walnut oil for cooking, the local chain grocery had only this one in stock. I was not able to choose a walnut oil based on size, container material, or celebrity endorsement. This brand also is a part of the controversial non GMO project which will make for good conversation when I entertain anyone who is vehemently opposed, or, on the contrary, a “fan boy/girl” of the labeling certification. I twisted the lid for nearly three minutes, wondering if I should use the bottle top opener feature on my multi-tool or just keep twisting with slightly different angles of rotary pressure each time. When the three minutes had almost passed, in my frustration I paused and placed it on the counter top, then noticing ridges and a slight lip on the lid. A simple flip of my thumb and it was ready to pour. Be aware that this product has a flip top lid, not a twist off, and save yourself some stress in the kitchen.
