sobering book detailing Japanese treatment of American POWs in WWII, story of olympic runner Louie Zapareini. Japanese were NOT nice.

If there were too much more I wouldn't be able to complete reading all the posts.

If it were an option I would choose the normal smile emoji. I like this color a lot. Wasn't my first choice for the barn roof but they didn't have pink, purple, or rainbow, so I went with this.

There are three interesting pieces of art above the computers for taking the permit test. I believe one or two depict bicycle accidents, one has a child about to be hit by a car, and another that shows what happened when someone was driving under the influence. It had a whole group of police cars and and a proud line of officers, defending the roads! I would recommend coming here. Managed to get the permit and license for an adult in the same day.

What an excellent product. It was simple yet enjoyable to assemble. Kevin looks very menacing. One tip for the manufacturers would be to make it clearer that in the first step, the blank sides of pieces L1 and R1 should be back to back. This would be an easy mistake to make if you're 6.

I am pleased with my review. This is what it says: This is basically a handbook that comes with a set of 34 stones, each one with its own quality of personal growth to aid. The basis for this is on how the vibrations of their crystalline structure resonates with a particular energy of the Inner Being, thereby strengthening that energy. Two pages are dedicated to each stone and its pairing (Black Tourmaline: Kindness; Hematite: Clarity of Thought; Rose Quartz: Intimacy; etc.), the bulk of which contains sensible self-help style advice about the quality in question. I don't have any of the relevant stones on hand, so this review is based solely on the book itself. It's fine. Two stars, it was okay. I was disappointed with the rigid gender binary the book presented, and I would have liked to know more about how the Inner Being works. The book says "It is subtle because it is hard to measure. Science hasn't figured out how to measure it yet, and what science can't measure, it doesn't believe in." I totally get that, but then I wonder how the knowledge of which personal qualities match with which stones came to be known.

Never before have I seen a population that so diligently follows the rule of standing on the right so those who want to walk can do so on the left. Sometimes when a space is very crowded it becomes unorganized chaos. But sans those few exceptions, the people of Taipei are extraordinary in their proper use of escalators. Very cool

Oh my! For the longest time I thought this mushroom was just OK. Now -- after trying it prepared in Malaysia and Taiwan -- it's definitively my second favorite mushroom. Yum!

Wow. Honestly maybe THE coolest city I've ever visited. The street life is so vibrant, super efficient mass rapid transit system, the night markets are almost surreal. The only real complaint I have is that certain bus lines have a pretty low frequency, and that some of the streets have far too much room for cars, but even so these problems are nowhere near the level of other cities I've been to. I would highly recommend visiting Taipei

It's fine. Not a squash fan in general but it's fine. Not everyone can be spaghetti squash.

A good place to donate your Grandpa's old letter from cartoonist Bill Holman, author of the Smokey Stover cartoon.

My my these are tough. Haven't ever solved one fully, but it's so satisfying to figure out even just one clue! I'll keep practicing and maybe one day I'll get one, but for now it's only a dream
